Mangala's logic in war represents the level of understanding of the young adult male. Developmentally, the young adult male is easily convinced of the utility of killing. It may seem, at this stage of brain development, that by killing the adversary, upon whom He has projected His own interior conflict, He will "win" the conflict and move ahead in life.
Modern brain research is beginning to show strong evidence that human physical brain development is not complete until approximately age 30-31. In Jyotisha, the native must complete the second Rahu-Ketu opposition age 27-28 and the first Shani return age 28-31 before entering adulthood. This Jyotisha principle is one of the best reasons for waiting until after age 30-31 to embark on adult marriage.
